Millwork showcase - Project Rose

Ok - it’s time to start sharing! Like I said - I’m learning over here!

Interior Design photography is fairly new to me and I am really loving it. My hubby (well fiancé technically) works at Wheelers Studio and recently they entrusted me to photograph some of their stunning custom millwork.

This one was super fun for me because not only did I get to photograph the space, but I got to style it too! (Say what!?! I didn’t even know I had that skill - well I mean clearly I’m not even close to a pro, but I think I did alright for a super duper quick turnaround!)

This stunning home was designed by the incredible talent of Interior Designer Michelle Berwick and features loads of millwork by Wheelers Studio.

Have you heard of Wheelers Studio?

They are a custom millwork business based in Port Perry and they do incredible work!

I may be slightly biased because my fiancé works there . . . and they also built our kitchen at home.

But not really. They do incredible work - there’s no question about it!

Raymond came with me on this project as he was headed to the home for a small millwork touch up anyways - turns out he was also a great assistant! I actually really love when we get to work on something together - we’re both creative brained and usually on the same page about design etc. Plus, it was a bit of a drive to get to this location which meant we got to grab Starbucks and a chance to chat in the car without our youngest (he’s only 6) interrupting every time I try to speak - seriously, what is that?

I think he gets jealous when i’m conversing with anyone other than him - oh my sweet (persistent) 6yr old boy.

Check out this gorgeous kitchen with both black and natural stained cabinets, custom inlaid cabinet pulls and a fluted bench.

But wait - there’s more . . .

There. is. a. hidden. pantry!!

Hello!!! I feel like Oprah announcing that!

Not only is the fridge/freezer panelled so that they are integrated right into the design -

but there are also cabinet doors to a hidden pantry!

Walk with me. Come and check out this STUNNING bonus space!

Honestly - pantry of my dreams

(Well done Michelle & Wheeler!)

This pantry is hidden away but clearly zero design elements were spared!

And I LOVE that it is still full of natural light!

The same gorgeous cabinets and countertops are carried right through so the transition feels seamless.

My only complaint about this space is that I wish there was more wine in the wine fridge, lol!

Stay tuned for more from Project Rose!
